It has been a roller coaster few weeks in Indian Politics . The newly formed political party CJP had recently held a press conference stating for a peaceful non violent procession and protest for the immediate removal and expulsion of education minister – Dharmendra Pradhan and had asked the youth to mobilize at Jantar Mantar and support them in this event. The resignation has been asked over the alleged irregularities, administrative lapses, and paper leaks in competitive examinations that have occurred over the last few years. The party states it’s their fight against the system that has been unfair towards the youth for such a long time and demand some definitive action now. Looking in retrospect however , who would have thought that a political party which started off just as a mem page and a response to the outrage created when the chief justice of India stated the youth to be equivalent to cockroaches to now being a full fledged party. With the growing digital influence and with more and more people joining , it would be interesting to see what holds for them on 6th June. To put in some context the Party had announced their spokespersons too during the press briefing that was done by them . Three names came in front – Ashutosh Ranka , Vijeta Dahiya and Saurav Das . These names may look like new faces in the political scenario but the fact runs a little deeper . On further inspection , it has been confirmed that these individuals were in fact affiliated to some political party or the other in their previous endeavor – namely the AAM ADMI PARTY. The party has stated to be an independent body and not be associated with any other political party at least for now . Their leader and founder Abhijeet Dipke is too set to return from the USA as well during the upcoming days. What’s interesting is that the party has stated for performing a procession but for that permission is to be first taken in advance from the police authorities but as of now no such permission has been filed for by the party. The police have been on their toes and have been prepping themselves for the coming event in New Delhi and it is now to be seen whether the procession would prevail or not . Now on the forefront the party in a way very reminiscent of the way AAP had performed during its growing phase. What makes it different from it though is that it has in a way a sense of ideology something that AAP did not. AAP ran on a narrative of fighting corruption while CJP accumulated the youth for a change in system and standing for the so called Gen – Z. It is however to be seen whether the party is all show or has some merit to it . The members and founder are also not devoid of any controversy as well. The founder or you can say the “Original Cockroach” has been found to showcase support to events which can be described as anti – nationalistic in nature . Although he states it is his right and viewpoint for free speech , it can be a catalyst for him to take away the winds from his stride. Evidently as well , now the whole of India or at least the youth lays their eyes on 6th of june.
